Brief Medical History Overview
Muscle Activation, Transverse abdominis + back
Hi guys,
I have a problem at the moment that involves the Transverse abdominis and the Erector spinae's.
I've done deadlifts and squats in the past and gradually noticed that i only get abdominal pressure in the left side of my torso when i contract my core and that the right side of my torso feels more relaxed, has a weaker contraction and is harder to feel any kind of pressure in.
Ive also noticed that my right Erector spinae's seem to have a weaker contraction too so im not sure if thats related to this or not.
Would i be right in assuming that its possible for the Transverse abdominis to be recruited harder on one side than the other for whatever reason, bad posture ect and that this could be correctable through exercises to develop the weaker side so that i could get an even contraction through my core and an even amount of internal pressure?
Any help or info would be much appreciated.
Thanks
