Just come across this site while looking into a problem that I have been diagnosed with by a specialist at the local hospital.

Been having pain in thumbs joints for a while and now has been diagnosed as hyperlaxity of the thumbs joints. Apart from the offer of wearing some supports it was a case of nothing to worry about, next.

The pain in the thumb area is now pretty constant and not much strength there. Are the any exercises that I could do to try and gradually build the strength back up in and around the thumb joints. I have started to wear supports just to help.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks
