Brief Medical History Overview
Shoulder injury
Good day all,
I injured my shoulder about a month ago at the driving range. It was not a serious injury but but has resulted in consistent pain my shoulder which does not want to go away. Every week or so since the initial injury ive participated in random events which have agrevated the shoulder injury further (such as playing a game of squash, or playing Wii tennis). The pain is not high, id give it a 3/10, with 10 being the most painful (so its highly annoying but bearable), but it is consistently there and bothers me in my sleep and when i brush my teeth or type etc. the pain is generally inside the top of my shoulder but is also concentrated towards the bottom of my shoulder blade/back. I realize this info may not be ideal for diagnosis but I would just like to know if i should just strictly rest it for a month before trying any shoulder related activities or if I should rather get it checked out by a professional? and if a professional is the preferred choice, can I go directly to a physiotherapist or would I need to see my GP first. (I have not treated it in anyway)
Thanks for any advice in advance!
Allan
