    help about fibula fracture

    hello im saiful,and im from malaysia..i would like some advice..about my fracture fibula...i fractured my fibula in 26th may 2011 because of playing rugby..for the first time after x ray the doctor ask me for surgeon but i told the doctor to delay it first for 1 week because of my exam...after 1 weeks i meet back the doctor,and the doctor x ray me..and decided only wear cast for 6 weeks that will be end this 13/7/2011...my question is..is there any possible after this 6 weeks i need a surgeon,,and rite now i didnt feel any pain at leg..

    Hi Saiful,
    Having no pain is a good sign of recovery. Fibula fractures heal quickly. However, you will have to see your doctor to get the finally report on the fracture healing. If all the movements are painfree and complete and there is nno or minimal pain at the fracture site ten you may not need to see your surgeon.
