Hi guys, im new to the forum so please bear with me. I injured my mcl playing rugby when a tackle come in from the outside of my knee forcing it inwards. Anyway this was 15 weeks ago and i have been having physio ever since. I didnt hear a pop when my knee went and i felt a sharp pain but then i could carry on playing and my knee wasnt really too bad until th next day.
In phyio i dont seem to be doing alot, just strengthening exercises. Anyway i can walk fine and go on the static bike for 20 minutes+ and feel no pain but if i turn sharply i still get a sharp pain in the inside if my knee, if this normal after this long time? Thanks

have you had any scans done? Is there an associated Meniscal injury?
Even MCL tears can often result with symptoms persisting with twisting motions for up to 6 months. Strengthening and stabilizing and high level progressions to balance work are necessary.
