    Help! Pain in hip muscle

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hello
I have had a strange pain in my hip for around a week now following landing awkwardly in a yoga pose.

It hurts mostly when I get out of bed (sideways), but also niggles when I walk. The pain seems to be on the side of my right buttock.

From reading various posts online, I think this is the gluteus medius muscle but I can't be sure.

I am training for a half-marathon so I need something that will help a quick recovery.

    Hope yuo can help

If it's strictly muscular, you can try some foam rolling to work out all the kinks. Try YouTube: ‪Foam Roll Techniques - The Glutes‬‏ - YouTube

    Many athletes roll.
