    Avoid further damage to knee

    Physical Agents In Rehabilitation
    Hi all,

I was recently diagnosed with ACL rupture, meniscus tear and minor osteoarthritis (inner) in my left knee. I have an appointment with a knee specialist next week. In order to avoid further damage to my knee, including the meniscus, would it be a good idea to start doing some exercise? Also, would it be a good/bad idea to use a knee compression sleeve?

    Any thought appreciated.

Hi, no exercise until you see the specialist. You can use the sleeve.

Thanks! I've had the appointment, but my knee condition doesn't seem straightforward...
