new grad working in UK- do i need experience before i go?

Hi there. I am a physio student graduating in april 05. I would like to go to the UK to work, is it best to get some experience before i go or can i head straight over and get work if i have HPC? What would you recommend? i was thinking about 3 months hospital experience before i go. I would appreciate any advice
