Hi all, I put up this useful clip as it demonstrates the essentials of the McKenzie extension in prone lying exercise.

Whilst I am not so sure about the hold times (perhaps a little long) it is a useful clip. The Dr Mike also says it is only for posterior disc bulges but I would suggest it is also useful with mechanical issues between the vertebrae without disc herniation. It is NOT useful for structural problems such as a spondylolithesis

For those who have not taken a McKenzie course I would recommend it. A link to this page for your clients might help those who you deem appropriate for this exercise.

Dr Mike reviews McKenzie or back extension exercises for those with a lumbar disc herniation.
