Physiotherapy Assistant in New Zealand

​I am physiotherapist from Brazil and I am currently going through the New Zealand registration process. While I am waiting for the process I would like to Work in the New Zealand Health System. Could anyone tell me if it is possible for foreign trained physios to work as a physiotherapy assistant in New Zealand?
If yes, are there any jobs in that field (I have the impression that most employers want some qualification in New Zealand even for Physiotherapy Assistants)?

Hi,
Physio Assistant's usually don't need any qualification at all.
There are several job search engines for NZ. Can easily find them on Google.
Do you have a work visum?

I tried to talk to Camila as well, but I didn`t have luck. I am about to start a posgraduate physiotherapy course in NZ next year and then I will try the registration. Maybe we can exchange some ideas and information ("trocar figurinhas"), since we have the same goal and it is so difficult to find brave physiotherapists from Brazil that goes through this way. Im a Physiotherapist qualified from India working in the UAE. I tried applying for New Zealand physiotherapy registration but my documents and evidence were not sufficient and not on par with the New Zealand standards and so was wondering if i can work as physiotherapy assistant for a year or so and then apply again for registration?

Will I be allowed to work as a physiotherapy assistant in New Zealand?
How do I find physiotherapy assistant jobs?
Will I be eligible to re-apply to the board if i get a 1 year experience as a physiotherapy assistant?
