Does anyone know the best way to get a website. I dont want to be on some other website domain like geocities. I want a cost effective way with my own domain name, web hosting and site. Any ideas would be great!

I am not if the software is available in Australia but if your after a cheap and basic website to start you off with your own domain etc then I have used a package from MrSite. I think the basic package is around £35 for 1 year here in the UK and you don't need any previous web building experience.

We used Physio Media - Physio Media | Internet Marketing for Physiotherapists
They did the website, hosting, emails and search engine optimisation and it's all ongoing so if you need things changed you just email them

If so, yep, you've got a nice, standard site there. My main suggestion would be to increase the number of photos of yourself, your staff, your clinic and your patients. Real photos are very powerful for the viewer, they show people that your clinic is real, has really people, and is a friendly, safe space to visit.
