Looking for the same information - have you got anywhere yet? I am beginning to piece bits together, the best advice being to talk to someone that is already running a private setup. Just out of interest - where are you and what has prompted you to look into private work.

    Re: Private Practice

Maybe the association / society of physios can help you out.

In Australia, we have a private practitioner's group who publish exactly what you are looking for. But it is for Australia so probably not so helpful for you in the UK.

Other places i would look may be the government department who deals with small business.

If you do make it into business, remember this rule...CASH IS KING. If you lack cashflow, good things don't happen!

In your preparation, read good books like Rich Dad, Poor Dad and The E-Myth. Physios are good therapists, not good business people (on the whole). You need to study the business side of things - one of the reasons we avoided commerce and economics in the first place right!?!?!?

    Good luck!!!
