    I would like to present my current findings and research into stress fractures to fast bowlers during the next english cricket season,which as we all know is an ashes tour.I live in brisbane and have been QLD cricket physio for 12 years and have toured with the AUST team to south africa.I would like to run aweekend workshop on assessment,and management of fast bowlers injuries.If anyone is interested please contact me for further details

    Sounds like a great idea. How about posting an absract summary of your findings? In particular I'd be interested in your proposed aetiology, I know there's some argument over site (ipsi v contralateral side) and the proposed mechanism (direct impaction of inferior articular process on subjacent pars v rotational stress on the pars); and would like your opinion. Then to the meat: altering mechanics (side-on, front-on, mixed), and therapy (what do you think is worth addressing, tight/weak/strong/loose/mechanics...)

    Sorry for the last reply was to a friend in Sth Aust - Iam working for the swansea Cricket and Rugby club in Sth Wales so would be interested in you results as have 2 players in the youth sqaud diagnosed with stress fractures and 2 others with spondilolithesis
