    Red face Knee arthroscopy

Hi everybody, happy to find this forum, this is my first post.
Actually it is a question sort of.
I am a 25 years old guy, very active or at least used to be until i suffered a torn ACL in a football match a year ago. I had an operation (hamstring graft) last january and have been having some pain on the right side of the knee plus the screw was coming out. So 2 days ago i had a knee arthroscopy and the doctor removed the screw and found everything was 100%, he did remove some "swollen tissue" if that makes any sense, he said that was propably the reason that my knee was feeling stiff and for my pain in the right side.

Anyways, sitting here at home restless as usual i googled a forum where im sure i could get some answers and share my experience.
How long do you guys think it will be until i can train again? Im definitely going into brazilian jiu jitsu with the boxing as soon as i can and i also want to play football (soccer) 2x a week, i am meeting the doctor again in 2 weeks can i do some cycling before that?
Since english is not my native language i hope you understood what i am trying to say.
    Thanks Guys
    -Jakob

    Re: Knee arthroscopy

    Taping
If I were you, I would air on the side of caution here. Considering your intentions to take on all these activities, I think it is important to have clearance from your doctor first, as to avoid further injury, which could inhibit you from doing the things you want to do long term. I would take it easy until you speak with him, and be sure to follow his advice to the letter, as he will be more knowledgeable of your issue and probably has the experience to guide you to a full recovery.
