Hi all,
I want to gauge the opinions of UK based physiotherapists whether involved in sport or not, as to what is the best route to becoming a therapist involved in sport.
This is for personal reasons as I am trying to decide what to do myself. I have been viewing another forum which is mainly inhabited by Sports Therapists and is quite one sided.

What I want to know is, are there more merits in training in Physio and then specialising in sport or going straight into sports therapy?
Another question is how did Sports Therapy come about in the first place? POST 65 in the following link is a theory that has been put forward, I want to know how plausible it is?

Thanks.
