I have a young rugby player (age 15), he also plays football, does school sports and recently joined a gym. I believe he may be suffering from Traction Apophysitis at the ASIS and also possibly the Ischial Tuberosity as well (His SIN factor was high today so it was not possible to investigate as thoroughly as I would have liked).

After a quick search there does not appear to be much up to date literature in management of the condition. I know that rest and activity modification are important but does anyone know of any recent information or have experience with these injuries?

Thanks,

Alex
