Opportunity to work with semi-pro football team

Semi-professional football side based in south-east London requires a physiotherapist for matchdays to support the first team.

We are an established club with a senior side playing in the Kent Premier League and we require a first team physiotherapist. The position is on an expenses basis, as we are an amateur side, and would suit a local physiotherapist looking to gain experience of sports physiotherapy with a senior team. It is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified therapist to gain valuable experience of sports physiotherapy with a senior side. The previous postholder now works within the academy structure of a professional (League 1) football team.

Matches are Saturday afternoons with some weekday evening fixtures. There will be an opportunity to work with the squad on rehabilitation and treatment plans, to advise the coaching staff on player fitness programmes, as well as providing a first line physiotherapy service on matchdays. Travel will be arranged for away fixtures if required.
