    Rugby Player back pain

I’m 16 years old, 5ft 11 and 60kg. I play winger for my local team and an academy. At training last week I noticed soreness in my lower back but nothing too bad so I played on, as he session went on it turned from a soreness into a shooting pain from my lower back down my leg and up my back as I ran, it made my back straighten and my stomach shoot out forwards. Since the session I haven’t done any weight training or physical exercise but the pain is still present whenever I bend down or sit down in certain positions. I started weight training again 3 days before the session but I only did arms, I don’t think it could have be caused by rugby because I didn’t really take any big impacts. The club physio said it was probably a trapped nerve and to roll around on it, but it’s in a position I am unable to roll on. I was just wondering if anyone could help me identify the problem and find a solution.
    Thanks.
