English test in order to get sponsorship and with DIAC

Hi,

I'm a UK physio trying to get a visa for work in Australia.

Has anyone recently undergone an English test either with OET or ILETS towards getting state sponsorship and a visa.

I'm lead to believe that we all have to take the OET as proof of being competent to work irrespective of where you were born
