Working Interstate. NSW to Victoria

Hi all,

I am a Masters Student from Sydney, and was wondering what steps or processes would i need to take if i attempted to apply for jobs interstate e.g. in Melbourne
Would employers consider hiring new graduates who are from other states? Just wanted to some feedback and advice =] Thanks for your time!
