Hello everyone,
I am an Indian Physical therapist keen on continuing my further career in Canada. I will be applying for Permanent residency. However i read on the Canadian association for Physiotherapy website that first our educational equivalency will be assessed. I have pursued my Bachelors in Physiotherapy degree(4 years and 6 months) here in Mumbai which had 6 months of clinical internship.roughly 800 hours but the website mentioned that 1000 hours of clinical education must be there. Although over the four years we have worked in our hospital clinics im not sure if that counts. if i have a shortage of these clinical hours how can i cover it up? I have 1.5 year work experience as well apart from my academic curriculm but im not sure if that will be counted. Can anyone whos gone through the process please solve this query for me.
