    US physiotherapist assistant

I am currently looking into looking for information on what it will take to become a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in New Zealand. I have currently hold my Associates degree in Athletic training which I further continued my education in Physical Therapy Assistant school which I have graduated, passed my national board exam. I have dual citizenship in the United States and New Zealand. I am trying to get information on how to become licensed in New Zealand also??

    Hi,
in NZ, Physiotherapy Assistants are not usually licensed.
There is a Certificate for Health Assistants (Health & Wellbeing) - but this includes all professional areas of the IDT. Best to ask NZQA in how far your qualification will be recognised in NZ.

    Good luck,
