Working in South America???

Hi all,

Was just wondering if anyone has worked or has information about working in South America? I'm really struggling to find any useful information on the net!

I'm looking to move out to either Brazil or Argentina next year and would like to work in private practice, I would guess the pay isn't great, but that's not a big motivator for me, and would obviously need to learn the local lingo, but any info on registration processes, finding a job, etc, would be much appriciated.

Hi, Just searching for the same thing. I see this was over a year ago for you, how have you got on? Any useful tips or places to look? I had a trip to Argentina last year and would love to return and work. In the process of beginner Spanish!

Hey Lauren,

Nope didn't really find out much, ended up moving to Singapore and working, which is great too!

Plan is still to end up in south america, but seems to be a lack of information out there, definitely need the lingo, and a brazilian guy I work with says best just contacting private practices out there and seeing what they can offer...I don't think they're too strict on registration etc!

If you find anything good let me know please...still hope to get out there eventually!

What is it like working out in Singapore?
Looks like in Argentina you can pretty much just head out there and search for work. Spanish probably pretty essential..
But will let you know if come accross anything helpful
