Hi all,

I am a UK-trained physio currently working in London, but looking to move to Hong Kong in the next year or so as my boyfriend has recently relocated with work.

I have e-mailed the HK physiotherapy board, but just wanted to find out a bit of inside knowledge re the expat/private healthcare scene. Having looked on the HK physio association website, it looks a reasonable standard in terms of research/courses etc even if it is small scale (compared to the UK!).

I'm planning on having 2 years experience by the time I move - is this enough to work in private practice? Do you know any good private hospitals/clinics I could contact? What's the salary like?? Do you have to specialise, or is there some kind of rotational system available? Is there an entry exam?

So many questions..I hope someone out there can provide a little guidance

Thanks alot in advance
