    work visa for ireland

Advertise your physiotherapy job on Physiobob's Job
I am an Australian who has just received recognition of my qualifications and can now register with the iscp. I am already in ireland with a working holiday visa and am now looking for work in a private practice. I am wondering about whether i will need a different work visa and how to obtain this. My working holiday visa is only valid for work for one employer for 3 months and also mentions that it should be casual work so I am wondering is this will rule me out from using this visa for work. I was looking into other work visas and it seems I could get a visa for employment earning over 30,000 euro but private practice works on commision so even though I may be earning more than this there is no set pay rate. Thanks for any advise you can give me.

    Re: work visa for ireland

Ireland has changed from being a country of emigration to a country of immigration. The unemployment rate has become very low. While in most cases people of the European Economic Area (EEA) do not need a permit to work in Ireland, non-EEA nationals must obtain government permission.
