Hi, I have a patient of pneumothorax with ICD in situ. Right lung collapse is around 50-60%.
There is continuous bubbling in the ICD bag may be due to a leakage between pleura and airways.
When I gave her expiratory exercise air comes out of the drainage tube. But what next when she again breaths in deeply?
Is there any chances of air being go inside pleural cavity again from lung (due to broncho-pleural fistula) or from the ICD?
I'm treating her since last 1 week, but still there is no improvement on the lung collapse on X-ray, it shows the same amount of collapse as earlier. What should i do? Please do reply your suggestion, every one is welcomed 4 the discussion.
