    Stethoscope?

I am currently a physiotherapy student and was wondering if anyone would suggest a good stethoscope to buy. I have heard that the Littman stethoscopes are the best in the market, but which one in specific would be best?

I thank anyone for replying to this post.

It does depends somewhat on whom you are doing the auscultation.. I use a littmans and it is excellent. I did buy one at the time that had both adult and paediatric end pieces. This is very much needed as a student as well. Hope this info helps

    Stethoscope

I use a Littmann Master 2, and it's awesome. I really like the single-sided design, and being able to check the different tones by adjusting pressure rather than having to flip it over - makes it much easier if you are reaching under shirts or gowns. Great sound, but not really suitable if you have yet to do your paeds placement or you want to head into that area in the future.

    Stethoscope

    Hi there.

Try the Littmans Classic SE Stethoscope. I found it invaluable and an excellent all rounder throughout all my placements, one of which included a specialist Cardiothoracic Centre. The steth was more than enough for that one.

    Cheers
