Hi Jigs,

Do you have:

W. DE JONG, W. M. C. VAN AALDEREN, J. KRAAN, G. H. KOËTER and C. P. VAN DER SCHANS (2001) Inspiratory muscle training in patients with cystic fibrosis. Respiratory Medicine Volume 95, Issue 1,Pg 31-36

K. Chatham (1999) S12.2. Pump failure and inspiratory muscle training in CF.
The Netherlands Journal of Medicine, Volume 54, Supplement 2 Pg S12-S13

Whilst its always best to get evidence directly associated with the condition your essay is on, the next option you have is to look at the best available and this may mean looking at conditions similar to CF - perhaps ones in which purulent secretions, fatigue and dyspnoea etc are a feature (eg. COPD etc.). Although there will obviously be some stark differences between conditions, and limitations to this strategy - as long as you highlight/acknowledge what these are and the implications this would probably be ok. Moreover, this will allow you to demonstrate your ability to think critically and use available evidence creatively - so you may get better marks.

Hope this was of some use and good luck,

Rachie
