yea low back ache...
directional preference is the patient's movement bias
so if the patient has pain in flexion would u give flexion or extension..there are difference schools of thoughts for this but not conclusive for either directional of non-directional.
you can also refer the book "Rehabilitation of the Spine By Craig Liebenson"
