Im just after a bit of general info really. About a week ago playing football i aggrevated an old injury in the fleshy part of my side/stomach apart 3 inches below my ribs (on left side). My physio has checked to say no real damage but just some internal trauma. It was swollen quite rapidly and some brusing came up (about the size of a 50p piece) to the right of it (going towards the stomach). Ive been iceing and drinking oj and pineapple, going on walks and putting arnica on the bruise. The bruiseing is almost gone but the swelling is still quite large. Should i be looking to heat this now or start stretching or keep iceing until swelling and bruising completely gone. Last time i iced i got a slight pain as if something was contracting. Any info appreciated. Thanks.
