    Thumbs up Inclusion Body Myositis

    Taping
    Hi All,

In the past few years I have been meeting more and more individuals diagnosed as having Inclusion Body Myositis (IBM). Recently it was suggested to me via one of those patients that doctors are now saying that IBM is the leading cause of falls in the elderly.

I don't remember being taught about this was in my undergraduate days so I thought I'd post a topic here along with a recent review. You can click on the attachment to download it and have a read. You might well have come across such patients albeit without any diagnosis.

    Re: Inclusion Body Myositis

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
Thanks for this link. I've currently got a pt who came in for rehab following a THR and he has a history of IBM. I had never heard of it before and it is definitely proving to be a challenging experience to get him back home after 4 months bedrest!
