    Has anyone done any research or know of any into the relationship between transverse abs control and LBP??

    There was a monograph published a few years ago on treatment of the lumbar spien which had a number of relevant papers - you could possibly find these with the National APA in Australia. Also you need to look up 'Paul Hodges' - who was in QLD Uni but is now with UNSW in Sydney, Gwendolyn Jull in QLD Uni and another researcher ... whose name aludes me right now but should be on the papers with Hodges et al. Also a lady in Sydney ( Anna Louise)runs a program called 'Physiocise' phone 02 9958 2239 uses their principles in her exercise programs so could help you with references. Hope this helps
