Reply With QuoteAs remedial massage is a treatment choice that one could make (as a physio) you could just bill under a physio. Not sure of what all the codes are for this in OZ as I've been in the UK for a long time now. Is there a soft tissue code specific for that type of treatment?

I'm an Australian physio, I've just set up my own practice, and am doing remedial massage to cover costs for the first few months. Does anyone know if I send through a claim for remedial massage to a private health fund with my physio provider number on it, will it be accepted? I'd like to have some idea before I attempt it for a client, and have not been able to find info anywhere....

Yes, remedial massage does have a separate billing code than physiotherapy.
