    Pulled Muscle?

    Taping
    Hi guys,

Sorry if I'm asking in the wrong place.

Few days ago I hurt my leg after lifting a heavy TV. I didn't feel the pain straight away, but about ten minutes after the lift. There are no sharp pains as such, but it still aches a little, especially if I walk for a while.

Do you think it's something I should worry about, or is it probably a pulled muscle? How long do you think I should leave it before I consult a doctor?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Regards,

    Anar

    HI anar ,

U did not mention about where do u exactly have pain and in which position do u have or when is it aggravated..

If u hurt youself with the TV that u were carrying and if u have had swelling or greenish discolouration at the spot ...would suggest u to keep cold pack for about 5-10 mins for a week..

    gud luc,
    anar

    Hi Anar,

Thanks for your advice. The pains are not specific to one area, but my sole and the lower part of the leg are more painful than the rest I would say. It's usually when I stand up to walk that I feel the aches, otherwise it's OK.

No discolouration, swelling or visible signs whatsoever.

Finally, even if it feels like it's healed, how long do you think I should leave before applying any pressure onto this leg? The reason I'm asking is because I do rock climbing and you do use quite a bit of leg-power in the process.

    Many Thanks,

    Anar

P.S. It's quite rare to see someone with the same name as myself; where are you from?

    Hi.

Could be your back due to your vague description of where the pain is...

Get it checked out by a physio where you are...
