    strength training

    Taping
I work in residential aged care and for the last couple of years have run strength training exercise classes using free weights. They are popular with the residents and I am pleased with the results. I would be interested to hear from anyone involved in strength training in this field.

    re: strength training

Use strength training with leg weights. We always measure the 1rm and do a structured programme to attain strength gains. There is a lot of eidence to promote strength training in elderly

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
I work in an aged rehab hospital. We use progressive weight training programes for alot of our patients with good results. I recently read an article regarding this which supported this method and stated that it also was a great help in decreasing depression in the elderly
