Parrifin Wax

Can anyone tell me the correct temperature for a parrafin wax bath? I get different temps from various references. One says 49 C, another vaguely 44 C. Another says between 42 and 52 C. I find that above 47 C it is a bit hot for patients.

Did you get the 42 to 52 degrees from Low and Reed ? ( 2000, "Electrotherapy explained", 3rd ed.)
They say that the middle of the bath should be as above.
I suppose it gives you a bit of space either way
