Thanks for that, i tried to ask the physio when i found out i'd need it doing again but couldnt really get the question across without it sounding stupid! Then wondered if i'd missed something when i had my pre-op and the nurse placed a hell of a lot of emphasis on someone being there to 'help me get around' once i left hospital!

One thing i have noticed is how much the NHS has improved (well in my area anyway) - got a surgery date for less than 6 weeks after being referred! Pity i am going on holiday so have to wait a few weeks longer.
