    Assessment tools for measuring posture

    Taping
Does anyone use a standerdised measuring tool for assessing posture, or any ideas how we could record posture on a yearly basis for children with CF, and other respiratory conditions.

We have considered digital photography, measuring C7 to T12, and Cx protrusion using the 'tragus to wall' test. We would be greatful for any information of other tests, or hearing from therapists who have experinece using any of the above to record posture in any patient group.

    Thank you.

I use the pneumap assessment. It is pretty good as long as the intra and intertherapist reliability on the use of the system is kept up to scratch. You can see more at www.pneumex.com 8o
