Reply With QuoteHi Karl. Unfortunately the US degree doesn't provide enough training to get registered in the UK. You could however take a masters in the UK and this could lead to recognition with the HPC. You post mentions Europe though and so there are different rules over there, and you might have better luck in Germany. There are a number of recruiters that advertise on PhysioBob's Jobs - Physiotherapy Job & Course vacancies, Physio Recruitment & Courses for physiotherapists for military physio jobs in Germany (with English speaking bases). As the legal structure in the military is different this might also be an avenue.

My wife and I are physical therapists (physiotherapists) in the US. We are looking for short-term jobs in Europe. We would consider fellowships as well. Any advice on how to go about doing this. Is there a service that will assist in the process, such as a "head hunter", or recruiter service?

Thanks for the feedback. My wife and I do have Master's degrees, so for us, getting another Master's is not palatable. Do you happen to know if there are any fellowships available, in which we could earn a FAAOMPT, or something equivalent?
Do you know if there is a way to do a fellowship towards earning a new designation? In the US, we have a manual therapy known as FAOOMPT. Is there an equivalent designation in the UK?
