My name is Joe and I am a highschool student in the UK currently doing my GCSEs. For a while now I have been looking into Physiotherapy. Ever since I have been young I have wanted to live and work in the USA and my school's career advisor recently told me that Physiotherapists are usually quite successful in attaining US green cards. I was wondering if what he said was true, and if so what is the best route to becoming a Physiotherapist. I know it's early days for me but I would appreciate any advice on the topic. I have read quite a lot of information on the internet and believe that in the US there are two types of Postgraduate degrees, these being Master of Physiotherapy, which I understand is becoming less common, and Doctor of Physiotherapy. I see myself doing an undergraduate degree in the UK then a Postgrad. Also, would doing a postgrad in the UK, Canada or Australia make my chances of obtaining a job in the US less likely? I ask because I have read that these countries offer courses that are much cheaper than the expensive ones in the States. I know I've asked alot of questions but I would appreciate any advice or corrections on things I may have gotten wrong.
