    Therapeutic Skills book

    Taping
    Hey all,

I'm just into my second semester of my degree course in Physiotherapy. I was wondering if anyone knows a good book for the subject of Therapeutic Skills? Any books that have a clear description of for example, how to move a hemiplegic patient from supine lying to side lying? How to move a patient from supine lying to sitting and so on, so forth.

I have referred to the book by Carolyn Kisner. Are there any other suggestions?

I would appreciate your help in this area as I'm still a new student! Thank you in advance!

    Re: Therapeutic Skills book

KISNER and COLBY book about therapeutic exercises is great but i am not sure if it describes techniques on neurological rehabilitation...Its only musculoskeletal-oriented!

The book you are using right now is very good and you can cover all your points through this else, there is another book which is very good to refer is "Building therapeutic skills" by Jeane Albronda Heaton.

Try this book it is very good.

    Thanks
