CRPS - Complex regional pain syndrome

    Taping
In the last year I have had 3 patients on treatment with Complex regional pain syndrome. Two lower limb problems, one upper limb problem diagnosed CRPS type 1 cortical (neglect like syndrome). Apart from Exercise perscription, TENS, acupuncture and mirror therapy has anyone else had marked success treating these types of patients with other techniques? I have just changed the TENS setting for one patient from spinal gating to more acupuncture type tens to see if we get better results as night pain is still a problem although he is painferr during the day. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
Consider referring the patient back to the doctor for consideration of ganglion blocks.
Also, there is the view now that a more passive approach may provide some effects.
