I manage daily 17 patients (10 in-patients and the others are out-patients) and think it is too much more than my capacity especially all of them are CP

i do manual therapy more than electrotherapy so for that i myself have to be energetic and fit...
we should not over burden ourselves with patients and should give home care plans to those who do not need daily therapy.
there should be atleast 2 therapists for each 50 bed ward...
eg in cardiac ICU with 10 beds there is an average of 8 CABG surgeries daily for which there should be 2 therapist in ICU.
similarly in neuro and cardiopulmonary departments.
but this doesnt happen in all hospitals i have seen over burdened therapist in all setups and then those too with back ache :P
