Please help!
More and more I am seeing patients with symptoms of shoulder bursitis. I find this condition very challenging and frustrating. Typically, I begin early stage treatment with nightly ice, scapular retractions (inner range), isometric activation of lower traps, postural education, thoracic mobilisation and thoracic extension stretches. I then progress to 4pt serratus work, through ROM scapular dynamics and gentle resistance rows ect. Short of cortisone, am I missing something?
