hello,
please can someone give me some advice.
im a 31 year old male with bowed legs, about 2 inches gap between knees.
the dr has just tol me i have runners knee, as i already have shin splints and have recently had bad ankles, and plantar facicitis.
i participate in MMA training which includes thai boxing grapping, kicking, ect, ect.
i have been done high impact exercises for the last 10 years and more than happy to drop the running but want your thoughts on wheather it is too risky on my knee joints to carry on with the martial arts and give up and start cycling and swimming?
i dont want to risk getting arthritis. If i kept my quads really strong could i still do high impact exercise with bowed legs and not risk my knees.
any advice would be really welcome.
many thanks. james
