I am Ren Townsend. I have read your post, and maybe this will help.

The English programmes have already started for the year. Even the ones which start in January or Feburary will be starting in 2011. So, this information is correct. It will be the 2011 year your are applying for.

As far as Australia is concerned, their calander is the reverse as ours. They are just about to end their school year in November or December. The next school year will begin in late January, Feburary, or March--depending on which school you are looking at--so, it may be worth a look if you want to go now. The programmes start at the Undergraduate level. They are very good. They tend to deal with orthopedic or musculoskeletal issues a lot. This may appeal to you.

One more thing. You need to look at these things as an International Student. If you click on this tag, they will tell you everything you need to know--costs, requirements, housing--in order to apply. Also, they will start to put you into that community which may help make the transition easier.
