    before two days, i was reading about the somatovisceral and viscerosomatic pain how are they realted but i found it kind of difficult ,, what do u think about this topic ? can u please give me some links to understand this topic more and what`s our role as PT ??

    now i`m in rehab neuro ,, all the patients are stroke patients i didn`t find an interesting case or appoach to use it with them ,, if u have any new ideas tell me please

    Hi,
    I think your focus is all wrong.

    Do you HAVE to present an interesting case (in paediatric or neuro... isn't everyone interesting?)? Do you HAVE to present/ research an aspect that you know nothing about?

    Why do you not look into something that you are good at?
    Why not research something that you enjoy doing?
    Why not research e.g. outcome measures that you are using and reflect on whether they are worthwhile doing?

    Just some thoughts.

    well i tried to search about the viscerosomatic reflexes but i found it difficult .. i didn`t understand the topic very well but i think it is very interseting ,,

    sure am not gonna talk about something that i`m not interesting in .. but the problem is t feel like i`m under pressure and i can`t come up with anything :s

    ... but that's exactly what I mean.

    If there is something you are interested in and you know NOTHING about, it will take considerable time to learn AND understand the topic. Then you will have to put it into practice numerous times and reflect on your experiences. And probably do further research to clarify new questions that came up. Only after that will you be able to deliver an excellent presentation. This will take time .....

    If you are under pressure time-wise (which I presume you will be by now), then present on something that you know a lot about and do some research to fine tune.
