Hi,

I just wanted to get advice on a few things.

First of all, my left shoulder seems generally less stable than my right. The last few days i've awoken with a sore shoulder, for example if i lift my arm there would be a bit of pain which seems to originate from the area between the anterior and lateral deltoid. It's not exactly unbearable, and after a little general exercise it seems to go away.

But another thing, sometimes when i breathe in deeply, and pull my left scapula downwards and in towards the spine, i get a 'click' around the shoulder blade (couldn't say exactly, but seems around the lower trap area). It also seems slightly harder to depress my left scapula. There's no pain, but it's just really frustrating.

I do general exercise every few days, such as push ups, pull ups, sit ups etc. But to avoid confusion i still had these issues before working out.

Happy to answer any queries.

Just to add, if i were to try and touch my shoulder blade with my hand by reaching around my back, the reaching arm's shoulder blade would 'lift up' away from the body and protrude, i'm just wondering if this is a sign of something. This happens with both shoulder blades, but more my left side.

Edit:

After some looking around it seems this is probably related to my problem: http://www.easyvigour.net.nz/fitness...der_blades.htm

Looks like i need to work the serratus anterior and lower trap, as well as correcting poor postural habbits (although my posture isn't that bad.)

Sorry for the pointless use of bandwidth, you can delete this post unless you think it might help others.

Thanks for the ugh... views.
