You'll need to figure out what province you're writing in. Here's the main source for information for writing in Canada: Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators.
In their Preparing for the Exam section, they have a list of recommended References, as well as an Exam Blueprint of topics covered.
Where many international applicants end up missing out in the information end, are the ethics, consent, record keeping, controlled acts, and that sort of thing. If you're writing in Ontario, your information for that would be at the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. They have booklets, as well as interactive e-Modules.
In Ontario, many of use use the O'Sullivan NPTE text, though a lot of the US information isn't relevant here, ie. differing medical systems, wound care, that sort of thing.
The O'Sullivan big text is always a bible. Kisner & Colby. Dutton NPTE. Many of my fellow students liked the Kaplan PT Exam book.
You need to know your stuff, as well as knowing the Canadian ethics and practices.
Good luck!
I am selling two books that I use in the NPTE
one is Giles with cd rom included 2010 and the other is Brad Fortinberry (1000 exam questions with answer and cd included).$65 and $40.
my email is [email protected].

Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators:
Credentialing Process for Applicants Educated Outside of Canada.
The Credentialing Handbook for Applicants Educated Outside of Canada is on that page. It takes you through, step by step.
Have a look at our PCE study tool at www.myepe.ca. EPE was the first online study guide of it's kind and even now we're the top choice for student's looking to pass the Canadian PCE. EPE covers what you'll need to guarantee a pass on both the written and the practical PCE, plus because it's completely online it's really easy to use and you'll study for the PCE exam in the same way you'll take the PCE exam.
