You'll need to figure out what province you're writing in. Here's the main source for information for writing in Canada: Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators.
In their Preparing for the Exam section, they have a list of recommended References, as well as an Exam Blueprint of topics covered.
Where many international applicants end up missing out in the information end, are the ethics, consent, record keeping, controlled acts, and that sort of thing. If you're writing in Ontario, your information for that would be at the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. They have booklets, as well as interactive e-Modules.
In Ontario, many of use use the O'Sullivan NPTE text, though a lot of the US information isn't relevant here, ie. differing medical systems, wound care, that sort of thing.
The O'Sullivan big text is always a bible. Kisner & Colby. Dutton NPTE. Many of my fellow students liked the Kaplan PT Exam book.
You need to know your stuff, as well as knowing the Canadian ethics and practices.
Good luck!
